Changing perspective
Here's a really neat article of a subject that many people (including photographers) often get confused about - perspective and how it is influenced by wide and telephoto lenses. Well worth a read... Visit site »
The Rise of Digital imaging and the Fall of the Old Camera industry
It's been a fascinating few years in digital imaging. I remember thinking as digital cameras were new that my Fuji Velvia 35mm slides would be better than digital for some time to come, and that my Hasselblad 6x6 transparencies would always be even better. Plus, I reasoned, if it does get better, I could always get a digital back for my Hasselblad (not so easily accomplished it turned out.)

The Canon 5D Mark II Announced

"The anticipation surrounding the launch of this camera model has exceeded our greatest expectations, and we believe our loyal customers will be awed by the level of innovation and features built into the new EOS 5D Mark II Digital SLR. Once they have the chance to experience the camera, we believe they will agree that it was worth the wait," - Yuichi Ishizuka, senior vice president and general manager, Consumer Imaging Group, Canon U.S.A.
