Postcards from the Grand Canyon

December 31, 2007

Winter at the South Rim is a wonderful time to visit the Grand Canyon. We're still here, so here's a quick selection showing how the South Rim looks in the winter time. Sunrise and sunset are incredible times with wonderful lighting on the canyon walls, though the light changes all day long so one can sit and soak in the constantly changing view spread out before you on a majestic scale all day and never get bored.

We're in the cool winter sun of the Park Headquarters courtyard where the free WiFi is, about to head to the Desert View Watchtower. So much to see, so little time...

Don't you wish you were here?
